Technical Internships

Technical internships encompass engineering and research & development functions where students can acquire invaluable hands-on experience in manufacturing and laboratory environments. Co-Op Program

Technical Management Trainee Program (TMT) - Shanghai, China & Operation Management Trainee Program (OMT) - Nantong, China

We are committed to nurturing young talent and cultivating future leaders. The TMT Program, tailored for graduates in Chemistry, Chemical, or Materials Science, and the OMT Program, designed for Chemical Engineering graduates, offer an intensive 18–24-month development journey with 3–4 job rotations. These programs are designed to accelerate your career progression toward managerial roles.

 

Internships: Real-World Experience

China

Gain practical experience in areas such as marketing, finance, logistics, and more. Our internships in China provide hands-on projects guided by experienced professionals.

India

  • Summer Internship (2-Months) - For Chemical Engineering & MBA Students
    Interns bring fresh perspectives and gain exposure to real business challenges. These internships also provide internal teams with opportunities to mentor and coach, helping develop essential skills that benefit future roles.
  • 6-Month Internship in MBS – For MBA Students Specializing in Finance
    Longer internships allow finance graduates to take on more significant responsibilities and contribute meaningfully to the organization. Interns work across subfunctions such as Controllership, Treasury, and FP&A, gaining exposure to data analysis and visualization tools. They also support audit requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing the risk of financial discrepancies.

 

Fresh Hiring Program: Japan

Start your career journey as a Chemist or Engineer with our 1–2-year program, which includes basic and on-the-job training. Join our team and develop your leadership skills.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are available in functions such as Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Business Administration. Apprentices acquire necessary skills through practical experience and academic instruction to be qualified in specific job profiles like operator or lab technician. Opportunities are also available in Business Administration. Apprentices receive on-the-job training in their chosen field along with vocational education.

 

Internships

The European Internship program provides students with practical experience within their field of study, often as part of a university course program. The aim of an internship is to provide students with insight into business processes and to enhance theoretical knowledge through practical application. It also serves as an opportunity for students to become acquainted with Momentive as a potential future employer. Interns typically work full-time during a single term, usually a 6-month period.

Availability of intern assignments may vary by location and can be offered in various functions, including Technology, Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement.

 

Partnership with Soon-to-be Graduates to complete a Bachelor/Master’s Thesis Program

We work with soon-to-be graduates to support the completion of their Bachelor’s/Master’s thesis. Students develop a thesis topic and project outline with assistance from the University and Momentive. Once approved, we provide research guidance and expert input from our scientists as needed.

Interesting subjects for a Bachelor/Master’s thesis often arise during university collaboration and cooperation with professors. We offer relevant opportunities for students.
